Michele, we 're so sorry to hear about little Luna's passing, and we
hope that Nicodemus continues to adjust well to the loss of his beloved
lady. Higs to you, our candle will be lit belatedly tonight.

Subject: Please light a candle for a little Rattie...
our little girl, Luna, died sometime during the night. Luna was adopted
by
us less than a year ago. We had gone to the Lancaster shelter to pick
up
some bunnies there and bring them back to the rabbit sanctuary where we
volunteer. Lancaster Shelter had two ratties, Nicodemus (male) who had
been
there about six months and Luna (female) who had been there a couple
weeks.
The age for each rattie was estimated to be about one year old. We
adopted
Nicodemus and Luna and hoped that they would bond. We had Nicodemus
neutered and introduced them. They did bond and have lived together
since.
We noticed that Luna was a little frailer, but she was healthy according
to
our vet and ate well, played and seemed very content. She eagerly took
her
treats last evening and we were greatly shocked to discover her gone
this
morning. Nicodemus seems to be adjusting to Luna's loss. Please say a
prayer for our dear little black and white girl; she was greatly loved
during her all too brief time with us.
Thank you, each and everyone. Michele & Richard

there is not enough. We have a higher mission -to be of service to them
wherever they require it." --St Francis of Assisi
