Ahhhh ... he mentioned something like that ... called it an "external drive" or something like that.
Nope .. as I read your message again, I see this is something different than what he was talking about. ...
..... Hmmm, the price is right <s> I'll check on that. I know he'll let me use his burner .. I just have to catch him home.
He lives local, but travels a lot for his work.
This thing of mine acts up from time to time. Just dirty I think. Plus my memory is getting kind of full too.
Every time it misbehaves I panic .. thinking it really dropped dead this time <g>
I had it down for a couple days this time. Used canned air this time to clean all the contacts. Boy ! does that do a nice job .. never used it before. I usually just wave the vaccuum around the fans and call it clean. I used the canned air on the fans that I thought were aready cleaned off from the vac and all this "stuff" came flying off. Surprise !!! <g>
I need to save my "stuff" just so I don't keep going into a panic over it.
Thanks for the info.

If you just need to transfer info, say hello to my little friend
http://www.customusb.com/products-flashdrive.html
A USB flash drive, you can buy them at walmart or on ebay starting at 5 bucks now.(the more they cost the more they hold). That page will just give you an idea of what they look like. You plug it into the USB port and it will hold a lot of info. If need be you could take it to your brother's (if he's near by) plug it into his computer and put it on a disk..
Something to think about anyway.
