Oh Carolyn! :-(  We are so very, very sorry to hear that the cancer has
spread.  We are sending you lots and lots of great big strengthening,
calming, supporting, positive energy, you can beat this, good luck, and
be well vibes.  I would certainly as well be looking at treatment
options "outside the box".

Subject: OT:  I need so vibes

Unbelievably, the cancer has come back IN the portal vein of my liver (I

have had it biopsied and it is mestatic colorectal cancer) - this is
very  
unusual all my dr's keep telling me.  The wonderfully aggressive
oncologist  at 
Vanderbilt totally became unagressive - keep doing chemo.  I just don;t
find that 
option appealing.  My oncologist here does not say much, but I am
looking 
into some other options - surgery MAY be an option down the road, but
right now 
I feel as though we need to DO something more than chemo, I am just  not
sure 
of that direction.  Its very scary having to 'step outside the  box'
like 
this and even go against some of the advice your main dr is giving  you.

 
I am supposed to start chemo again tomorrow - a different one than last

time.  I had my blood work done today and my hemoglobin is low....its
always a 
little low but they were talking that perhaps I Would need a
transfusion (this 
coming from the nurse not the DR), when I told her I was to  start chemo

tomorrow she then said maybe they would give me a shot....so not  sure
if I will be 
getting chemo tomorrow or not.
 
Right now I am scared, worn down and really feel stressed about the  
decisions I need to make..and make soon, so I could use some of those
wonderful  PB 
vibes.
