If a person can't afford an adoption fee and they have other animals, I
would have to say no.
At any given moment, my guys have gone to the vet for $100 or more. We all
can't afford that but you have to do it and if it's a matter of life or
death you do it.
We have a separate account for an emergency pet fund. It's responsible pet
caretaking.
If I knew someone wouldn't take a pet to the proper care they needed because
they had to check their funds, I'd be upset.
Think it over carefully and if you can keep in touch with this person in
case you can help if something arises.
It's so hard. Vibes.
