Oh Rhonda! My heart just stopped when I read that King Valentine was 
dead! How can that be?  I am so sad and so distressed to read this.

With Jackie sick, I jump at every backwards step in her health.  We have 
seen some progress since Sunday, but we were gone for about 5 hours 
tonight and when we got back she had not touched her salad and the 
pellets were barely touched. I had hoped for more improvement since I 
want her to make it to 8 years old and to be in our family photos for 
Easter. 

Now your Valentine will not be a member of your family and he won't be 
in your photos. :-(   I know you had to do what you did. If he was 
suffering and his quality of life was poor, you did the right thing, as 
heartbreaking as it is.   Sometimes we have to help our loved ones to 
the other sides if there is no getting better.

PS We just came from a lecture by Dr. Jack Kevorkian tonight. He wasn't 
really allowed to talk about why he had been in prison due to being on 
parole, but he is quite the radical and had views on everything else.  
His lawyer sat behind him at a table. ,
