Scout does that too. We say he likes his veggies "finely aged"

He look at you absolutely appalled when you take out the 2 day old veggies
(he always has at least 2 bowls in his cage, of varying ages) to put in some
fresh new ones. Does any one know why bunnies do this? Is he
over-hydrated???

Muffin just eats everything in sight until she explodes. She'll eat all her
pellets, then pass out in a "pellet coma",spooning her bowl.
