[Petbunny] a little more ranting

You need two bunnies. You need Trixie, and a back up bunny. The back up
bunny should be stuffed. If Trixie looks at you and says "fat lot of good
that will do!", you still need to hug a bunny. Trust me. Next time you're
out, go find a good stuffed friend too. AND you need to write yourself a
therapeutic postie and put it on your computer. "They don't hate me.
They're just busy. I could go be busy too." Then go for a walk, even if
it's to the mailbox. I have depression and bipolar, and the whole nine
yards. You have to find your own little coping skills. We have
successfully identified a problem! We can help you solve this one. But you
have to do the work. We can't fix your depression or your self esteem. Nor
can you. BUT if you can find ONE contributing problem, we can all help you
work to solve that one problem. Then you find another. Then fix that one.
It's a never ending process. I know it sounds ridiculously silly, but it
works. (If the medicines send your handwriting south, you spend four weeks
and write 60 Christmas cards to friends and family and mutter and grumble
and cry when it hurts so bad but keep working on it and eventually you can
sign your name on a form. Still can't fill it out--but you can sign it! My
next step is to get the letters smaller so they fit between the lines.) Let
us know what your steps are you're working on. Let us know what you
accomplish. Let us know when you need support. We would rather stand with
you than sit here and wonder when you point and yell "all my friends hate
me!" Does that make any sense?

*hugs*
Mandy

Yup, did for me. Thanks Amanda.

I just wish people wouldn't assume that just b/c I think someone hates me
means I am looking for a guilt trip.

Of course, I need to stop assuming people hate me b/c I have not heard back
from them. That is my issue that I need to work on. It is unforunately
part of the depression and low self esteem that I have. I know a few people

here understand.

Now I am going to (try) and hug my bunny tonight. Wish me luck!

Amy and Trixie and Mr. Shimmer bunny (ATB)
