I was just wanting to touch base with a anyone left
from the old days. A big Hello to Cindy Scheel,
KrasiJane, Patricia Na, June Booth, Deborah Beal,
Carla, Bill, Ken and Tracey.
Yes Patricia, Willow was always trying to mail Maggie
to you, he called her M.U.D. remember? Stood for
Maggie the Ugly Doe(she wasn't, she was a cute little
fuzzy lop with airplane ears). We also had Sabre who
wore a hockey costume for the Halloween Ball( I have
pictures) and tried to start a rumble.
Carla, remember I named a kitty after your Murphy? Our
Murf had a wealth of health problems for a while, but
is doing great now. Since I picked him up off the
street where he had been hit by a car, I still don't
know how old he is, but is is slowing down and can't
make the leap to the kitchen counter easily any more.
He is somewhere between 14 and 18.
I often thought of June during Katrina. How did she
fare and is all going well now?
What is up with Deborah Beal? Are there archives to
catch up on?
Thanks for the welcome back, now on to the reason for
being here.

Will the Pill is still going strong, he has cataracts,
and is a little slower, but over all a very healthy
senior citizen in the bun world. I have decided that
at his age, he can do what he wants, so his diet is
now not so perfect. He prefers junk pellets, but still
loves hay, and I balance the junk food with veggies
and fresh fruit. Want a piece of sugar cookie? Why
not.
Hopefully he will live thru this summer, I grow a
large bed of clover(the large leaf/big purple head
variety) in the back yard for him. No one dares to
enter the house from the backyard without an offering
of clover and other garden delights.
I moved him out of his NIC condo and into a smaller
cage, I was worried about him not making a jump and
hurting himself. He doesn't seem to care, he still has
his favorite ball to toss and some lovely metal food
bowls to clang. While he still loves to be snuggled,
he prefers his cage to free time. If I put him out,
mostly I just get thumps to let me know what he thinks
of it.

Thanks for the welcome

Becky and Willow
