The pet place nearby has these two buns (listed as lionheads but are really
jersey woolies or some other small n fluffy breed with beaucoup de fur), who
were for sale, but now are "free to good home". They told me they will
either go to the SPCA or become snake chow somewhere very soon. I don't know
why.
They are both sweet little 3 month old females, one all black, one sort of
agouti/tan/white. Both would need spays. They seem very content together,
and used to have a piggy friend who is now in his own booth. I held them
both- they are well acclimated to handling. Sigh...
OK, so a few issues:
1) the dude said they were not planning to get more rabbits, espc for
easter. This place mainly sells birds, fish, pocket pets, and the occasional
pup/cat. It''s small and very clean.
2) cost of two spays, and I am not exactly raking in the bucks.
3) I will be away for 10 days starting next Thursday, so I'd have to find a
separate babysitter for the little girls. Pointy & LM will have two people
stopping in to feed & pet them.
4) Will Pointy, Queen Bun, allow two new girlettes in the warren? They are
free rangers, so how would I split things up if they don't get along?
Hep! Hep!
Do I really need two new bunnies???
