I've been giving her simethicone once daily for the past 3 days, she's made
a couple of sounds that are a cross between a sneeze and a burp.
She's still eating, but very picky.
The pellets are all consumed...but slowly over time. She refuses to touch
the curly parsley, and gobbles down as much fresh mint as I put out. She
also likes Belgian Endive (expensive tastes that girl!).
Her poops still aren't what they should be, too small and hard and not
enough....but some. She's drinking normally, and the hay...let me tell you
about the hay!
My living room (never one for House and Gardens...I tell people that my
apartment looks like a single man and a rabbit live there) is REALLY a
manger now!
Before Sheeba kept most of her hay in the hay cage, but since she's so
picky-I now have piles of hay all around her hay cage to tempt her: South
Dakota 1st and 2nd cut Timothy, Western Timothy, Kentucky Timothy, Bermuda,
Orchard, a bit of alfphalfa (just to stimulate her appetite), and some other
kind I don't remember the name of. She has a regular buffet out there!
She is behaving in a clingy way; sits right up against my feet and taps me
on the leg with a paw (like a dog begging) to get my attention. She's gone
so far as to THUMP when she wants me down on the floor next to her.

I came home from the VA today and laid on the floor next to her, giving her
pets and kisses; she really likes that closeness.
Yes, I'm keeping a close eye on her-she is my life.

Peter
