*NOW* it makes sense! And a BIG bun at that. A true force to be reckoned
with. Too funny!

Kali is the (east) Indian goddess of death, destruction and chaos
as *I* understand it. Patron goddess of assassins, I do believe.

Lorna, what does 'Kali' mean? Just sounds cute to me.

That's an awesome story! I didn't know work boots were that
wimpy. Bunnies
really do reign supreme! Thanks!

Bunny stories.. Hmm! :)

OKay - well, I have one from Kali the French lop who adopted her
little girl. (Or did the girl adopt her?) I've been trying to
remember the human names but brain is failing me..

On Christmas Eve the little girl's "real" Dad showed up to take
her wherever for his turn at custody and the girl didn't want to
go. She started pitching a fit. Kali came to investigate what was
going on and growled and thumped at the intruder into HER warren
who was bothering HER kit. Dad says "You're f'n kidding me? A
rabbit?" he gives Kali a shove with the side of his foot.

Did you know rabbit teeth can go through work boots when rabbit is
sufficiently motivated? Neither did I! .. Dad spent the day at the
emergency getting stitches from irate rabbit wounds, little girl
spent it hugging Kali and Mom spent it laughing with the ER staff.
("and he wonders why I refused to marry him..")

(Really, Klara, naming a rabbit 'Kali' what were you thinking?? :)

I agree. It's a classic! Maybe we could use a round of retelling
favorite
stories to raise spirits. Newer people can enjoy them, and older
friends
and treasure the memories. I know I have a few favorites I've
heard I'd
love to hear again! (fish that kiss bunnies (Velcro?) and bunnies
that
fight burglars (Definitely Puffy))
