Yes friends, I am back. 
   
  *I* the lowly SSG fixed my own computer and now I'm reconnected with the world!
   
  We only had the experts from Division here yesterday to figure this all out and they finally suggested that I call the "help desk" and left me hanging....go figure.
   
  After finally getting a full nights sleep last night, I came in this morning and began a serious search for the problem. 
   
  AHA!
   
  The idiot that used to be the personnel guy at BDE, until he po'd everyone in the BDE is now our IA guy. Imagine that. There was some issue last week about changing proxy servers and so he ghosted into all the puters and changed the proxy server line.
   
  Doh! He transposed two of the elements of the proxy line in mine...ergo...no internet connection. 
   
  So with the fix in place, I am now back connected with the real world out there and maybe my morale with raise once again. 
   
  In the meantime, it snowed on Wednesday night here in Kin Tuck EE. About an inch here. Just enough to hold school one hour later and for everyone on the roads to get stoopid!
