[Petbunny] Bonding: Muffin and Scout - LONG

It sounds like the Bonding Gods are helping, so that's a good sign.

We have 2 bonded pairs and they still have chase scenes and times
when it's obvious they don't want near their mate.

It sounds like when they're free range in your apartment, they do
have enough space to be apart from each other. Scout just needs to
learn to read Muffin's "leave me alone" signals and it's her job to
teach him that (no matter how much we hoomins think we should be the
ones enforcing such things)

I say as long as mortal combat isn't occurring and both can eat/drink/
use litterbox without undue harassment, I'd keep letting them out
together - esp. whenever you and Michael are home. For the next few
weeks at least, when you're both at work/school, I'd continue to
separate them into their condos BUT make sure they have a common wall
in the condo-arrangement. (so they really can still see each other
and can be near each other if they so wish). Try putting Scout in
Muffin's condo and vice versa every few days as well.

When you see some form of grooming, then I think it's safe to let
them be together 24/7. but they seem to be on the right track.

We didn't rush our bondings either and they took months of this slow
process.

Oh, and when you have these dates, have you tried plopping yummy
salads/piles of hay where they both can enjoy them? I'm talking
about special salad ingredients that they might not always get -- so
they start to associate being out together with good yummy food/
positive things.
