[Petbunny] OT: my mom, brother, sil

 I have just talked to my brother.  Two weeks ago Vicki had surgery.  The
basically lifted her right  breast and removed 6 lumps of skin cancer under
it.  She had been going to Charlottesvile for some shots to prevent further
cancer and she has been dropped from that  program since the cancer
returned. I told him I was sorry but they voted for John McCain as did a lot
of other people and McCain has had Melenoma for 8 yrs.  Apparently folks
thot he was good to go even with the strain of the Presidency so her outlook
is still prettty good.
My brother hasn't been to see mom in more than a month, but he claims she
has lost the use of her legs and is confined to the bed and won't eat.  She
had complained about the food the last time I talked to her.  She is
sleeping her life away.
