A script is needed because Revolution kills heart worms and can dangerous if given to a dog that has not been tested for heart worm.

Also, I heard that Revolution has been licensed as a drug whereas Advantage is a pesticide.

The dosage for Revolution for a bunny 6 lbs. and under is 0.25 mL

We can buy both in pet stores or over the counter at a vet clinic?
I wonder why there are different rules over there?

Yes, Revolution is by Rx. Advantage is over-the-counter. I used to have the
dosage amount for topical application, but lost my bunny medical files a
year or so ago. --Laura

Petsmart doesn't sell Revolution, do I have to get it from the vet?
