[Petbunny] OT : The State of the Lorna address.

I'm not ignoring people! I've just been buuuusy!

 

First and most importantly - Sage is doing good and still refusing to let me
touch her. She does let me feed her though, so I suppose I should be happy
with that generosity. :) 

 

The house still isn't sold even though everyone who has seen it has wanted
to buy it. Various factors come into it, but mostly its "I don't care - I
wanna moooove!" If it's not sold by Oct 1st I'm taking it off the market for
the winter and listing it with a different realtor come spring.  Probably
with the realtor who sold it to me.. Hey, if he sold it to ME when it was a
piece of .. he should be able to sell it now that I've done tons (thousands)
of work!

 

I've taken up walking and hiking again and am in something approaching 'good
shape'. I ditched gluten from my diet and feel so much very better. I
haven't felt GOOD in over ten years, but I feel good now! (Still all the
back/pain issues, but who cares, I feel good!) My doc is so shocked he wrote
me a letter to get the government to pay for some forearm crutches without
grumbling or fighting with me. I don't need both, just one to use like a
cane, just forearm crutches are so much easier on the wrist.

 

My parents went insane. They got sick of me repairing my Sidekick every
three weeks and bought me a Yaris. (They were gonna buy the more expensive
Matrix, but I wanted the Yaris. It's cuter and has better sight lines) So I
have an almost brand-new car for the first time ever. Also the first time
I've had a rear window defrogger. ;) Two soft tops and one pick up before
this. I do miss the soft top experience a little, but then I turn on the AC
and get over it :D

 

I'm debating on my September travel plans between visit Leanne & Edmonchuck
and going down to Bunny Fest in SD. Unless I manage a couch surf navigation
on my way south Edmonton would be way cheaper. Tho, I'm not sure how Sage
feels about running into that mischievous Pebbles again! ;)

 

Not currently playing any MMO's, walking and hiking instead. 

 

Am working for a couple organizations doing webwork. So hey, extra money!
