[Petbunny] Prayer Request Please

Hello to all,

I know I have been really inactive, but it has not been because of disinterest, but because we have had some rabbits who have required a lot of extra care. My thoughts and prayers have been with everyone and their furkids, though I have not posted. I want to welcome all newcomers (who are old timers by now) and send sympathy to anyone who has lost a beloved family member, either human or furkid.

Now, Richard and I are asking for extra prayers tomorrow for Lady Jane Gray, our beautiful little dutch girl. Jane and her mate, Dudley, have been with us the longest, since May 1999. They are our beloved Moses' (ATB 10/3/08) parents and have been together all their lives. Tomorrow Jane will have surgery to remove bladder stones. We saw two large stones and several small ones on the xray. Jane has always been very healthy; but because of her advanced age (10 3/4 years old), we are very nervous. We are confident of our vet's abilities but understand the danger of anesthesia, especially in advanced age. We also believe there is no alternative, as she is most uncomfortable.

So, my friends, once again, we are here, begging for your prayers and good vibes. We are dropping Jane and Dudley at the vet around 8am tomorrow and will post as soon as we hear that she has come through surgery successfully.. We thank you in advance for your prayers.

 With love and appreciation, Michele
