Hi there Peter,


It sounds like you've got mouse problems there, especially considering
the mouse appears to be making clicks on it's own.  A reboot might help.

The circle with the arrow will appear in some programs that support this
feature when you click the middle button or click the scroll wheel.  The
purpose of this feature is that when you see the circle with the arrows
is that you can scroll the window up or down by moving the mouse up and
down.  To get out of this mode one is supposed to click the middle
button again.
