[Petbunny] OT: Length of time for isolation???

I think it depends on the animal.

When I took Casper in to be neutered they told me to keep him locked in a cage for 10 days to make sure he healed. I was calling back after 2 asking if they were SURE he had to be locked up. He drove me nuts. (this was 7 yrs ago, now they say keep them quiet over night and see how they do.

It's been years since I spayed a cat, but I seem to remember they need a day by themselves to heal before they rejoin the others. Amber was only 5 lbs at the time (but a yr old) and she seemed to take it the hardest. Chole was a normal sized cat and she was back to normal by morning..... just a bit slower.
