Dear Melanie, many vibes to poor little Jackie!
She will feel a lot better after the revolution I think, she will feel more
comfortable. I hate it when they need blood taken too, I do so hope they
don't hurt her, they are aware that she is sore and will take extra care
surely!
Indigo has two bald back legs still, from where she had blood taken, she
fought so hard they had to try several times, I am glad Narelle took Indigo
to another room, as I usually insist on staying with my bunnies through
whatever needs to be done, even though it upsets me no end, but for some
reason she was whisked off whilst I was busy trying to retrieve Sirius Lee
Cute, who was exploring the surgery and had squeezed town the side of a
cupboard and needed help to get out, I was so GLAD I didn't witness it that
time. Usually though any other bunnies I have taken have been fine and
Indigo isn't a fighter at all, well only when it comes to cats, so I don't
know what happened that day.
As for Jackie's eye, Indigo gets this and has done since a baby, she goes
well for weeks sometimes months and it starts again, I actually have some
human eye drops for mild conjunctivitis, I put them in and usually after a
couple of drops one night and once the next morning, it's cleared up, also
it's something the vets can't work out what is going on either, she has even
had her tear ducts flushed and it didn't make any difference, I did check
with Narelle that the ingredients in the human drops were bunny safe and
they really do help, so I don't know if they would help Jackie, worth a
thought?
I am sending many calming for you too.
Love, Paige, Indigo and Sirius Lee Cute
