Jackie's vet visit was more expensive that I had thought, and it didn't 
tell us a lot of new information. Fortunately, there is no really bad 
news, and we learned that she has gained back the weight she lost (just 
like most humans do).

The problem with her runny eyes comes and goes, and there is no 
permanent solution that we know of.  She also has a messy butt every 3 
or 4 days. When I offer her the leftovers from the floor she usually 
doesn't want them, but sometimes she will gobble them down. This doesn't 
make sense to me as to why one day they are desirable, and not the next 
day.  Her ears look good, and the only unusual thing noted in her blood 
test results at this point were elevated triglycerides of 223 mg/dL, 
which also doesn't make sense. 

Finally, the one thing that is new is that she is getting points on her 
teeth that need to be filed, but that means going under anesthesia, and 
since she is still eating well, and the money going out is less than 
coming in due to Damon's unemployment, we didn't do it yesterday.  
Jackie needs to eat more hay which might help with her teeth, but 
because she is finishing her big salads and all of her pellets it seems 
she doesn't want to her hay as much. If I make the salads smaller she 
throws her plate around until I wake up and get out of the bed to take 
her plate away.  That is not what she wanted me to do, but she still 
throws her plate around anyhow if she feels the salad wasn't big enough.

We didn't see any fleas on her yesterday, but there was flea poop on her 
back from an earlier infestation (my poor baby!), so we put Revolution 
on her today.
